Start with the credit and rights statement beside the image. They identify its source and any specific terms. This page applies to images credited as original Coru work; it does not replace a third party’s license.
Images created for Coru
Publication on Coru does not grant a general license to copy, modify or republish an image. For uses that require permission, please contact us before reuse. A link or a credit alone is not permission. Any applicable legal exceptions remain unaffected.
Public-domain and third-party images
Follow the image’s own source and rights link. A public-domain statement or an explicit license such as CC0 applies on its own terms; Coru does not claim ownership of that work or require a separate Coru license. A faithful reproduction may have different reuse rules across jurisdictions; check the linked source.
AI assistance
The credit identifies images generated with AI assistance. Naming Coru identifies the producing project; it is not a claim that every element has exclusive copyright or that every possible use can be licensed. We will assess a request against the particular image and its provenance.
Ask about a specific image
Use the Coru contact form below. Include the article URL, the image URL or a description that identifies it, your intended use, where it will appear, and a way to reply. A request does not grant permission; wait for an explicit answer. For third-party works, use the source’s contact or licensing instructions instead.
