Anonymous page counts
Use the controls below to change future page counts.
About counts · opt out
These server counts use no analytics cookies, visitor identifiers or browser tracking code. We keep daily totals by public page and broad traffic source, with known bots and tests separated. Raw IP addresses, browser descriptions, referring addresses and query strings are not stored in these analytics. Counts are requests, not people, sessions or proof that a page was read. No reading time is measured.
The live daily counter keeps 90 days. Anonymous aggregate reports and experiment results are retained for comparisons. Temporary anonymous delivery records are normally removed within three days. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control requests are excluded. This is separate from optional Google Analytics.
You can exclude future requests from this browser on this site. The choice uses only a nonunique preference cookie for 180 days and works without JavaScript. An earlier counted request cannot be linked back to you or removed from the totals.
Optional Google Analytics stays off unless you allow it here. If the choices are unavailable, it stays off.
